Amanda Hamil

Chief Client Officer

Amanda joined PortfolioAid in January, 2014.  She has over 20 years of financial services experience including tenures at Manulife Securities, Edward Jones, CIBC, and Scotiabank. In prior roles, Amanda was a Branch Manager, Regional Compliance Officer, and most recently held the position, Manager, PortfolioAid for Manulife Securities.

Amanda graduated from McMaster University in 1994 with a bachelor of commerce degree and holds the FMA designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, and the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.

Leigh Kivenko

Chief Technology Officer

Prior to joining PortfolioAid in 2005, Leigh spent eight years at CGI Group where he led teams in the design and development of their e-settlement brokerage platform. Subsequently, Leigh worked at OANDA where he managed a large-scale project to white-label their leading internet-based foreign exchange trading platform for a large European bank.

Leigh graduated from the University of Toronto in 1994 with a bachelor of applied science in engineering. He also has a professional engineering license and the Project Management Professional designation.

Lily Lau

Director of Product and Service Quality

Lily has worked with PortfolioAid for her entire career; first joining the firm as a Data Analyst, she has steadily taken on greater responsibilities, and now serves as the Director of Product and Service Quality. She prides herself on delivering a premium level of service that PortfolioAid’s customers can count on. Lily’s intimate knowledge of the industry, as well as client use of the PA360° application, have proven invaluable when finding creative solution for our customers.

Lily graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Information Technology Management and holds the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.

Sam Webster

President

Prior to joining PortfolioAid in 2009, Sam worked in senior and executive level positions in Toronto and New York at companies including DataMirror, a highly successful software solution provider, and Hero Ventures, a technology-focused venture capital fund. He also co-founded reBOOT Canada, a computer-recycling non-profit organization. Sam brings over 20 years of technology and finance experience to PortfolioAid and is committed to a business environment that is productive and positive for customers, employees, shareholders, and partners.

Sam graduated from Princeton University in 1992.

Ruveen de Lanerolle

Director of Development and Product Delivery

Ruveen has been an integral part of the PortfolioAid family since 2009 where he has excelled in a number of roles. Ruveen has proven himself as a successful Developer, Business Systems Analyst, Implementation Manager, and in his current role as the Director of Development and Product Delivery. Guiding beliefs that Ruveen brings with him to the job every day are 1) the most powerful systems marry functionality with simplicity and 2) software tools don’t solve problems but can be used to efficiently address them. These tenets serve PortfolioAid well in navigating the ever-changing landscape of regulatory compliance.

Ruveen graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Philosophy, and holds the PMP and PMI-ACP certifications from the Project Management Institute.

Youmna Haddad

Director, Risk

Youmna joined PortfolioAid in 2015 and currently serves as its Director of Risk. Youmna is a dynamic risk professional with extensive experience in several audit methodologies and she prides herself on being able to cultivate and promote a healthy risk culture throughout an organization. Prior to joining PortfolioAid, Youmna spent four years at Citibank managing high-risk data privacy and security incidents.

Youmna graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received her Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) certificate from U of T’s School of Continuing Studies.
